Education
I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, where I specialized in the LGBTQIA+ population, gender fluidity, and Crisis and Trauma. I am currently working on my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Colorado State University, with an emphasis on Gender Identity formation and LGBTQIA+ issues, specifically those related to the Transgender population, and access to healthcare and mental health counseling by knowledgeable professionals.

Accolades
Actively involved in ACA’s SAIGE (Formally the ALGBTIC) division and served on the committee to make the documentation's language more inclusive and gender-neutral.
I was also actively involved in my local hospice center in Colorado and volunteered at the local LGBTQ Center. I also lectured at Colorado State University, Front Range Community College, and Western State University on Gender Fluidity and Gender Identity Formation.

Treatment Style
My main mission is to provide a safe, empathetic, and understanding environment for clients to explore who they are regardless of where they have been. Healing begins by understanding ourselves. It continues by exploring those things that have brought us joy and pain. This understanding and acceptance of ourselves can ultimately lead us to the most authentic version of ourselves and a self that can truly accept others as well.
While I utilize a variety of styles, theories, and interventions in my work, I am primarily a Reality Therapist whose emphasis is on the choices that we make and the consequences of those choices, how those choices have led us to where we are, and how they can lead us to the most authentic version of ourselves. I also employ geek therapy in my treatment style as I am an all-around gamer/neet/anime weeb who enjoys all of life’s little self-care routines.
